My Wants Facebook Application

A new idea has been created for the iWants Network. This project that has been started is the first Facebook Application created by MyWants Inc. We hope that people can use our application to help get the things they want.

The objective of the ‘My Wants’ Facebook Application is to allow users, to create a list of all their ‘Wants’. Users can then let their Facebook friends and family know what their most wanted items are. The application will also enable users to get their wanted items by searching them. This will be done by Learning through Wikihow.com, Shopping with Amazon.com, or searching the web with Google.

Scope of the application

• The ‘My Wants’ application allows users to keep a track of the things they want in life and can organize them by using this application.

• Users can add items to their ‘My wants’ list and obtain a package to add unlimited items

• Users can spotlight their most wanted items by adding them to the ‘Top wants’ list.

• Users can share their wants with friends and can also view what their friends want.

• Users will be provided with an option to search their wants on web. This will help them to learn how they can make the search process easier.

• Users can set time frames to each of their items such as: Now, 1 month, 1 year, etc.

• Users can mark their items as public so that everyone can view it. They can also mark it private to let the item visible to them only.

• Users will be able to set their status on what they want, with a reference to the ‘My Wants’ application. This will act as a viral hook to this application.

• Users can comment on their friends wants and can initiate their discussion on the items they are interested in.

We hope that this application will allow Facebook users to get their wants in life and organize their life online in some kind of way. We are very excited about the My Wants Application. Make sure you watch for the Beta release. We are going to be giving away Cash Prizes!!
