I know, multi-platinum material right there. I should just shut down the blog, head over to Def Jam, and sign the contract. Sadly, they’d turn me away 10 feet from the entrance, the security guards that is. So for now, I’ll just talk about the Snoop Dogg method to Social Media.
Strange mix you say? Absolutely not. Every successful person has things that got them to where they are, as well as similarities when compared to other things. People just like Lady Gaga and Gary Vaynerchuck.
Whether you’re a big Snoop Dogg fan or not, there’s a few things you can learn from him when it comes to your Social Media…
– Be Real
Snoop says what he wants and what he feels in his music. Sure, a lot of it is “gangsta” stuff but I think some of the best rappers speak from experience and from their environment. There’s so much music out there that’s complete garbage and written by some ghost writers versus the actual artist themselves. That’s not real.
He says whats on his mind and I think that’s what matters most. Not saying you just want to start talking about (well, you know what I’m getting at here). What I’m saying is simply be you and be real with your friends, followers, and audience. We’re attracted to real personalities and you’ll find exactly that. Do it because you should, not because it’s just a good strategy.
