Now that many people and businesses are starting to use both Twitter and Facebook Fan pages, the question comes up, “How can I update my Twitter from my Facebook Fan page?” and/or “How can I update my Facebook Fan page from my Twitter profile?”
Well, the good news, you can do BOTH very easily. The hard part is finding out exactly how to do it because Twitter and Facebook don’t really make it easy for you. BUT, being that you are reading this article, you are in luck to learn how to do so.
Best thing I would say to do is simply use TweetDeck. TweetDeck will allow you to update both your Twitter account and Facebook Fan page with the same post. You can even have full control of updating multiple Twitter account, Facebook profiles, and Facebook Fan Pages. You can select whichever ones you want to update at once or alone. The only thing that may stop someone from enjoying this is that it is a desktop client. This is all done from your desktop.
If you want to try another online application, try “Selective Tweets”. Go to Facebook and search for “Selective Tweets” and click to add the application to your Fan page. Once this is done, go to your page and click on “Edit Page” and find the selective tweets application to edit it. From there you can edit it to your needs. This application will allow you to update your Facebook Fan page via Twitter updates by putting the #fb tag at the end of any tweet that you want to update your Fan page with.
If you want to update Twitter with your Facebook Fan page, go to http://www.facebook.com/twitter/ there you will see a list of your Fan Pages that you are an admin of. All you have to do is click “Link To Twitter” and setup from there. Once this is done, your Twitter account will be updated when you update your Fan Page.

adding both selective tweets and the twitter app to facebook causes duplication on twitter as anything you post on twitter with #fb at the end of it will be added to your fan page status and then automatically added as a tweet within your twitter. So this is not a good solution or something you should advise people to do.
Does it really duplicate the post? I have not come across that problem. But if the system would do like you said, wouldn’t it create an infinite loop? keep posting back and forth?
