Social Media Quick Tip
“When first creating a blog, it is best to keep in mind that your most valuable asset will be the blog reader”
When you start off creating your first blog, you have to realize what you are actually doing. You are in the blogging game to attract readers. What fun is it if you are the only one reading your own content? None, because that means you have no one to respond to what you have to say, and you are surely making ZERO money from your efforts.
* This is not only for beginners. New and older bloggers alike should take note.
You are not only creating content for your self promotion, you are creating a resource for others to read. Your content is not the life blood of the blog. Your asset is not the blog as a resource itself. You can create wonderful content, but your blog is NOTHING without readers. So with that said, your readers are, without a doubt, your most valuable asset. Having readers is what truly gives your blog life and a purpose.
Your readers should not only be looked at as traffic. Your readers can serve as MUCH more of a value. Readers can give you feedback on your work, initiate conversations, generate relationships, help you innovate, answer questions, etc. This means that when you are creating content, you have to put your readers first. Think about what they want and need. By helping your readers, you are creating your most valuable asset. Loyal readers = successful blog.
What are some other reasons blog readers are considered valuable? Do you think readers are honestly more valuable then the content itself?
